Fresh Early Harvest Olive Oil from our Family Grove – First Cold Extraction

Have you ever tried an extra virgin olive oil that was extracted just a few days ago? 

This olive oil comes from our own family grove in Granada (Spain), hand-harvested by us in October 2025.
Just a few hours after the harvest, the olive oil was extracted using cold extraction to ensure the highest quality.
This extra virgin olive oil is produced exclusively from our grove, with no mixing of olives from other farms, and no chemical or synthetic fertilizers have been used.

Description

  • This extra virgin olive oil is made from the first cold extraction directly from the olives of our own grove in Granada (Spain), with no mixing with olives from other farmers and without any additives. This results in the freshest olive oil, preserving all the characteristics of a true extra virgin olive oil
  • Hand-harvested by us in October 2025 and cold-extracted just a few hours after the harvest
  • This olive oil is made from the Lucio variety, one of the oldest olive varieties, dating back to 600 AD. Today, Granada is the only region where this unique variety can still be found.

    Unfortunately, the Lucio variety is at risk of extinction due to its low production and the high costs associated with its cultivation. By choosing this product, you are helping to preserve this ancient olive variety and support its continuation for future generations.

  • High polyphenol content, with an analysis from the last harvest showing 567 mg/kg. (For reference, it is considered health beneficial when the content exceeds 260 mg/kg)
  • Acidity level of 0.31%, as per the analysis from the last harvest. For reference, extra virgin olive oil is classified as such when the acidity is below 0.8%
  • Taste: Fresh, balanced fruitiness, grassy tones, medium bitterness, and a strong spicy finish
  • Color: Greenish golden
  • Use: Recommended for raw use to experience its full flavor
  • Please note, if you are not accustomed to olive oil, you may find the flavor quite strong, as this is a very fresh extra virgin olive oil, extracted just recently
